    Safety and housekeeping go hand in hand. To avoid slips, trips and falls practice good housekeeping.  This safety bulletin presents six ways to create a safer working environment.

  • This issue of MISTRAS Safety Campaign 2022 highlights four states that can lead to critical errors that, in turn, can increase the risk of injuries; and provides insight on reducing risk by keeping our focus on the task at hand.

  • This issue of MISTRAS Safety Campaign 2022 focuses on increasing hazard awareness when walking, distracted walking while on cell phones, stairway safety, and scaffolding safety do’s and don’ts.

  • This short course offers insight on how MISTRAS employees can recognize and avoid effects of fatigue on the job by following the MISTRAS Fatigue Management Procedure, 100-SP-042.

  • Exposure to heat stress is a common, but serious hazard for all of us.  Employees   have the responsibility for learning, understanding, and abiding by MISTRAS 100-SP-015 Heat Stress Management. This short presentation coves the signs and symptoms of heat stress and how to respond to it appropriately.  

  • This bulletin reviews some of MISTRAS vehicle safety requirements, to ensure safe operation of MISTRAS vehicles and their drivers. Learn how to plan and execute a journey safely,  review monthly vehicle inspection requirements, and see how to correctly respond if is involved in an accident while operating a MISTRAS vechile.
